Clema S. Lewis
Clema is responsible for overall management and is our chief spokesperson. She sets annual goals and objectives, and implements policies.
Director, Crisis Intervention/ Bilingual Counselor
Josefina is our bilingual Spanish-speaking crisis counselor and supervises the counseling staff.
Director, education programs
Responsible for operations at the Alice Pfaelzer Children’s Center, including career exploration and volunteer service programs for youth.
Bernice coordinates administrative support–including supervision of staff, maintenance and repairs for all locations, ordering of supplies, records maintenance and related services.
Handles overall accounting and finance functions, and is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of WCSC’s financial information. Also works with the executive director on the organization’s annual budget.
Sheelene provides advocacy, crisis intervention and other supportive services for people impacted by violence, including assistance with action planning.
Brenda provides crisis intervention and supportive services to the residents of Sojourner House, including court advocacy and action planning.
Judy provides on-site childcare services for the youth residing at Sojourner House shelter while their parents work, go to school or keep appointments.
Shelter Night Manager
Swinda oversees the evening, weekend and holiday operations of Sojourner House, WCSC’s emergency shelter.
Lis provides crisis assessment, intervention and emotional support to child survivors of violence, including addressing their emergency needs.
Minerva is responsible for providing court and criminal justice advocacy to victims of domestic violence, rape and other crimes.
Transitional Housing Case Manager
Temara manages our Transitional Housing Program, including securing temporary housing and providing case management for victims and survivors.
Debra’s work includes developing WCSC’s messaging, marketing of our mission, vision and efforts, and management of our online presence.
Suzanna arranges for pickup and delivers large donations to our thrift store, and assists with organizing merchandise.
The Driver arranges for pickup and delivers large donations to our thrift store, and assists with organizing merchandise.
The coordinator handles retail operations, including organizing donations, sales and volunteer schedules.
Front Desk Client Navigator
Katherine greets clients and visitors, handles incoming calls, performs general administrative tasks and assists with special projects.
Thrift Stores Manager
Karlean is responsible for daily operations and administration in Closet To Closet, Shabby Chic Corner and The Home Store.
Syretta’s responsibilities include recording daily financial transactions, assisting with payroll preparation and tax reporting.
Our primary liaison with donors, develops our annual fundraising plans with the Executive Director, and oversees our fundraisers.
The coordinator handles retail operations, including sales, organizing donations and arranging displays in our home goods thrift store.
