Caribbean-American Heritage Month

The recognition of Caribbean-American Heritage Month includes the legacies of trauma–enslavement, institutional racism and other forms of oppression, and the effects of generational trauma. We must focus on our connections, unity and triumphs, from Fire Bun to the civil rights movement, metoo.international to the Women’s March VI, and still we rise, to thrive and grow in equity, equality, power and healing! We honor our ancestors and affirm that we are their dreams come to life; with intention and purposeful action, we change our world for the better.
