National Day of Remembrance for Murder Victims

Always Remember.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no one can steal.

–Richard Puz, Author

The National Day of Remembrance for Murder Victims (NDRMV) was designated by the U.S. Congress in 2007, to recognize the impact of homicides on surviving loved ones and communities.

For 14 years we have commemorated NDRMV here on St. Croix, with events and activities in support of surviving loved ones, with opportunities to express their feelings and bring more attention to the violence that plagues our local and global communities. Check our NDRMV.VI page for details about our annual events.

The Wall of Remembrance, a visual presentation of the names of murder victims on St. Croix since 1974, is updated annually and presented at our in-person events, and on our Facebook and YouTube channels.

Visit our NDRMV.VI Facebook page, for more information on National Day of Remembrance for Murder Victims events on St. Croix, and to post memorials to your loved ones.
