RAINN Day

You can be a part of the movement to raise awareness around sexual violence by engaging virtually with the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network on RAINN Day, April 14. RAINN Day is an opportunity for college students to demonstrate to their peers that they are an ally in the fight against sexual violence. The RAINN Day hashtag #LetsGetLoud is a call to action, reminder that we all can make a difference in our college communities about sexual assault when we work together. To represent this collective action, RAINN added a unifying activity, so everyone can be a part of RAINN Day, regardless of where you live. Draw the RAINN Day blue megaphone on your hand to show your peers that you care about and are committed to speaking up about sexual violence.

The organization’s Instagram Challenge includes opportunities to win cool prizes. Draw a blue triangle representing a megaphone on your hand on April 14, take a photo, and post on Instagram sharing why you’re joining college students across the country for #LetsGetLoud. Share a statistic, a personal story, or a commitment to step up if you see something happening that doesn’t look right. Visit RAINN’s website for more information: click here.
