Virtual “Take Back the Night”
It is Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) and for 38 years, the silent march and rally has been one of the community’s honored tradition during this October. We have changed to a virtual event this year, as we do our best to maintain the government’s health and safety guidelines against the spread of COVID-19.
Our virtual “Take Back the Night” will be held on October 15th at 5:30 p.m., and livestreamed on our social channels. Visit our DVAM for details closer to the event. Please join us and tell all of your friends and family to watch and to wear purple in support of victims and survivors or domestic violence. Let’s take back the night!
If you or someone you know is experiencing abuse or violence in a family or intimate relationship, we are here to help. Please call our main office/crisis center at 340.773.9272, for information on free and confidential services. You are not alone. We believe you. We are here for you.
